Agave Fudge Recipe

Smooth, rich and as dense as cream-based fudge

1 - 1/2 cups (255 g.) simi sweet dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup All-natural cashew - macadamia nut butter ( you can substitute all natural peanut butter)

1/3 - 1/2 cup agave nectar (depending on desired level of sweetness)

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

 

Directions:
Line a pan with parchment paper or grease pan (put to the side until ready to put in batter)

In a double boiler or bowl in water method put all ingredients except pecans or walnuts.

when melted thoroughly fold in nuts

spread in prepared pan and smooth top. Chill until set (2 to 3 hours), then cut into squares. Wrap in plastic before packaging as gifts. Makes 12 - 25 squares, depending on how small you cut them. Bonus: this may be frozen! Defrost in fridge overnight.
