This is on top of 18.4% the federal government is putting on. In South Carolina on May 13, 2004 we are paying 18.4% federal tax plus 16% state tax.
National average is 29 % taxes per gallon according to LewRockwell.com .
New Yorkers are paying 51.4% tax on every gallon of gas according the Lew Rockwell. Wow New York that is almost double the rest of the country! I guess Uncle Sam will not be happy until we all pay 50% tax on everything!
God only ask for 10%. No wonder they want to separate church and state!!! |
