materials: brown material, fusible interfacing, glue gun, ribbon (Christmas colors), fabric paint, 6 9mm gold jingle bells

Directions:

make a paper template of a gingerbread boy and girl. Iron brown fabric onto brown fabric (this will prevent fabric from fraying) cut 4 gingerbread boys and 5 gingerbread boys out of brown cotton fabric ($1.98 a yard at Wal-Mart in my town). Paint on face and clothes of boy and girl. Use hot glue gun to attach to apron. you can add bows, stars with needle and thread. Candy canes or other appliqués made in same manor as gingerbread girl and boy can also be added.

This is also a great way to decorate a table scarf or place mats.
