Non-GMO Project's Product Verification

Non-GMO Project's Product Verification Program has several companies that have already signed up and are considered Official Participants. This is the most distinguished designation that will be offered by the Non-GMO Project until October 2009, at which time a “Non-GMO Project Verified” seal will be launched for retail packaging. We encourage you to support the companies and products below in recognition of their laudable commitment to ensuring the sustained availability of non-GMO options, and their belief that consumers deserve an informed choice.

A 60 minut film on GMO Farming

In a personal phone interview with "21st Century Newz" back in 2001 Nell Newman said " We have quit lableing Non GMO on our products - we can no longer verify our fields as being completly non GMO." She was very gracious to speak with a small unknown online publication. It seemed as though she was as perplexed as I was over the situation. It was a short 3 minute conversation but I knew that companies such as Newmans Own were being rolled over by the agri giants.
