How to Make Tulle Pew Bows

Tulle wedding decorations can fill in a large area with an inexpensive fabric (Tulle) that is very elegant. Be careful when storing tulle for long periods of time. Tulle must be carefully wrapped around a bolt when it is stored or it will wrinkle and be hard to work with.

Creative draping around candelabras, Tulle bowes, and artfully wrapping around large candles and glass candle vases makes for an elegant look. Use electrical zip ties for easy on and easy off. Don't be afraid to allow some of your material to flow onto the floor. Watch the informative video below for a basic ribbon and tulle bow and then add accessories. As in the picture above thin white ribbon is added with white flowers with some greenery.

To make a tulle pew bow you can use the "one loop" method that most people use with shoelaces .

Take two chair sashes (each measures 9" wide by 3 yards long) and use one sash to tie a bow. Make it what ever size you want.

Hold the ribbon sash in one hand and find the middle. Start on one side fold over the first side of the bow and then the other side. Just like you are tieing a huge shoelace.

You can make adjustments by pulling on either side of the bow.

Now take the second sash and tie it around the ribbon knot (the center of the bow) these are the ribbon tails. You are making a Basic Bow and adding faux tails.

Attach to pews with a clip and some wire.
